Art Wrap in North Manchester, Indiana

My painting called “Celebrating North Manchester” was enlarged and an art wrap was applied to our traffic control box at Main and Market Streets.  It is keeping company with Kandinsky’s “Composition VIII (on the left).  There are a total of 15 art wraps of different paintings.  You can check them all out at  #ArtWrapsWabashCounty.

“Our Town”  15” x 11”  Watercolor by Susan Ring

My painting, “Our Town,” was gifted to the Oji Holding Company, the mother company of Oji Intertech in North Manchester .  It was presented to the President and General Manager by the Grow Wabash County delegation during their visit in November, 2018.  They asked me to do a small painting that could fit in a suitcase!  I chose three sites to represent our town’s varied buildings: the covered bridge, the Main Street roof peaks, and Manchester University’s new Intercultural Center.  To see the detailed image, please check out my Archival Landscape Page.

“North Manchester is “Our Town”.  This painting represents the roots of our ancestors and the willingness to grow and embrace the world outside of our community.  My goal is to express the pride of our past and our hope for the future of our unique town.”
